How to Measure Your Dog's Neck
- Find the base of your dog’s neck—where the collar naturally sits, typically just above the shoulders.
- Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it snugly (but not tight) around this part of the neck. Make sure you can fit two fingers comfortably between the tape and your dog’s neck for safety and comfort. Record the measurement in inches.
- No measuring tape? Use a string, ribbon, or cord, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length with a ruler or standard tape measure.
